Hi folks: I want to let you all know that I will be retiring from ELCC at the end of June. It is now time for me to step down and pass the proverbial torch to a new leader.
The past 8 years have provided me with an unique opportunity to develop and implement the eLearning Consortium Canada. What began as an idea in the minds of Independent School Heads in Ontario is now an established and well-known organization providing exemplary and innovative online learning for K-12 students and professional development for teachers.
It has been an immense pleasure to work with all of you, who have supported me with enthusiasm and energy. I have truly enjoyed working as a part of this special online family. Our independent schools, and our dedicated online teachers, site administrators, academic heads and IT support staff, have made the ELCC a special and innovative organization.
The posting for the position of Director of eLearning will be out later today. Be sure to take a look and if you, or someone you know, is interested in this wonderful opportunity, please pass it on.
Attached is the official letter from the Chair of the ELCC Board, Brenda Zwolak, explaining my resignation. Be sure to take a look.
