Blackboard Collaborate Ultra is used for online conferences, discussion, support and feedback

The Ontario Tech University AQ Course Teaching and Learning through eLearning runs four times per year, in winter, spring, summer and fall.

The course looks at the framework in which online education happens in Ontario, then takes participants through the process of designing and teaching online courses, looking at curriculum design, online learning environments, instructional design and teaching an online course.

The course is primarily asynchronous, but the second half of the session involves a significant practical element, in which participants develop their own online content. Though this part, there are weekly synchronous check-ins, but these are scheduled along with participants to ensure they are at convenient times.

Registration is through Ontario Tech University. Click here.

“Honestly, this is my sixth online AQ/ABQ course and it was by far the most useful.”
